About us

We are an interdisciplinary research team looking at ways in which we can support parental leave in all its shapes at Northumbria. In particular, we are keen to understand how technology plays a role in supporting (or sometimes hindering) the juggling act of becoming a parent, maintaining a professional role and everything in between.

Marta is a the PI of this project and a Senior Lecturer in the department of Computer and Information Sciences at Northumbria University. She is currently expecting her first child and researching work-life balance in the digital age.
